Impatient

Rain has a beat like a ping pong ball,
Thunder sounds like hands beating on a wall,
Lightning looks like sun that's about to shine,
Someday the sun will shine but not this time.

Hail makes a sound like popping corn,
Wind whistles like a blowing horn,
Snow looks like paper wadded in a knot,
Waiting on rain really bores me a lot!

What Am I?

CRASH, BANG, BOOM! Here I come!
Your city is delicious, yum, yum YUM!
I will eat your houses. I will drink your rivers.
When I get done you'll all have the shivers.

I twirl and I spin and I like to bend trees,
When I move from town to town, dirt surfs around me.
I move really fast but I don't last long.
If you've guessed a wrecking ball, you've guessed wrong.

Chuga, Chuga, Choo-choo, I sound like a train.
You've might have made a guess, but I'm not rain.
Did you guess a tornado? Yep, it's true.
Better watch out, I'm comin' for YOU!

"Goosebumps"

I think there's something out there,
I wonder what it could be.
I think I saw a figure,
Or are my eyes deceiving me?

Shadows dancing on my wall,
They look like arms with hair.
I'm starting to feel goose bumps,
I see a silent stare.

Scritching and there's scratching,
Going in and out my ears.
I think there's a monster,
The air is filled with fear.

I feel hot monster breathe from my neck to my chin,
The fur! The fur! It's tickling my skin!
The fur is sticking out from beneath my bed,
Hey . . . . .
It's just my bunny slippers.
I guess the monster's in my head.

"The Storm Will Last"

The storm was moving very fast,
The weatherman said, "The storm will last."
The lightning streaked across the sky.
"Look at all the leaves go by!"

The wind blew everything around,
The thunder roared across the ground.
The clouds were flying past the moon,
"Oh! I hope this storm stops soon!"
